I am an oil painter.  An animal lover. A nature lover. When I paint a subject, my goal is to capture the essence of that being. My husband says I paint their souls.  The highest compliment.  Creating a painting is like a meditation for me.  I am completely entranced, totally in tune with my subject.  Some of my favorite things to paint include animals, children and flowers from my garden.
